Switch from Console to WinForm project type

Oct 25, 2009 at 4:11 PM

Pulled down via SVN, works great.  Thanks.

The only thing I have changed has been to switch the project from a Console to a WinForm application.  This way the black console screen does not pop-up every time a link is clicked.  I imagine the reason it is a console app was because of the --log switch.  If that is the case you can "create" a console window by using the AllocConsole p/invoke.

Do you mean you recompiled so that the CMD windows does not appear?  Is it based on the latest version?  Have you got a link to it?  Thanks.

Correct.

If you know how to use Visual Studio, the change is very quite simple.  The second portion of my comments are only required if you need to see the log messages that are outputted to the console.

It doesn't look any any changes to the source code have happened since Aug 23 2008  - which is unfortunate as it could use a little refresh.  I don't have a link to the re-compiled version.

Cheers.  I will have a go at doing that then.

But at the moment a couple of us are having a mysterious problem where OpenPLS is not working with some .pls files but work fine in others.

I cannot find what the difference in the files might be.  Is this what you meant when you said that it could do with a little refresh, or are there any other problems you know about?

Thanks.
